Moscow metro website displays message from Ukrzaliznytsia, app reports massive outage

Today, March 31, russia reported a massive outage in the Moscow Metro app. In addition, a message from Ukrzaliznytsia is displayed on the website.

Thus, russian media reported that the Moscow Metro app had a glitch. In particular, users began complaining about the glitch around six in the morning, as they could not log into their personal account and top up their card.

Meanwhile, the Moscow Department of Transport stated that the problems were allegedly related to technical work. At the same time, when accessing the Moscow Metro website, a message from Ukrzaliznytsia was displayed, which is identical to the announcement on the official website of Ukrainian Railways - about a technical glitch in online systems.

As Ukrainian News Agency reported, the failure of Ukrzaliznytsia's systems on March 23 was caused by a large-scale cyberattack. Online ticket sales remain unavailable, and the company is preparing to operate offline for the day.
