The Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed a heavy mechanized bridge over the Oskil River, built by the russian occupiers in the area of Dvorichna on the Kupiansk axis.
The Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Troops Group has reported this.
"The Russian army does not abandon its intentions to build a crossing in the area of Dvorichna to transfer equipment to the western bank of the Oskil River. A heavy mechanized bridge was used to build the crossing. The Ukrainian military successfully destroyed enemy engineering equipment," the report says.
In general, on the Kupiansk axis, enemy infantry attacks were successfully repelled near Kamianka, Pishchane, Petropavlivka and Zahryzove.
It is indicated that the russian army continues to use outdated models of armored weapons, in particular T-55 tanks, converted for moving personnel to forward positions and concentration areas.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the russian occupiers are trying to expand the bridgehead on the right bank of the Oskil River in the area of Kamianka. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are taking measures to prevent the enemy from achieving success.
