Ukrzaliznytsia has experienced another technical failure, as a result of which its online services are down, and the company's website is working intermittently. This was reported by the Ukrzaliznytsia press service.
Despite the fact that the company stated that train tickets are already available for sale online, passengers may encounter problems - both in the application and on the website. In such cases, they advise:
- wait for the load;
- try to log in via VPN.
They noted that those who bought a ticket before the cyberattack should have received an email with a PDF ticket. However, only if the email address was added to the profile in the carrier's application.
"Also check the spam folder. Tickets could have been sent there," Ukrzaliznytsia advised.
It is emphasized that if you still cannot find a ticket, you should still come to your train - but no later than 20 minutes before departure. In this case, it is explained, "the conductor can check the basis for travel regarding confirmation of payment" - in particular:
- a record in the banking application;
- a receipt for payment.
If, when purchasing a ticket after the resumption of sales on March 27, a failure occurred, as a result of which the money was withdrawn, but the ticket did not arrive, it is also worth checking your mail. If the ticket is missing, you need to describe the problem through the Ukrzaliznytsia application in the "Feedback" section. At the same time, it is emphasized that the ticket can be returned "no later than 1 hour before departure."
"If you reserved funds for automatic purchase, and the ticket did not arrive due to a cyberattack, fill out a refund application - we will refund the money after verification. The refund time depends on your bank and may take up to 30 banking days," Ukrzaliznytsia noted.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, it is impossible to buy train tickets on the Ukrzaliznytsia website and mobile application due to a technical failure in online systems, despite the company's statement about the restoration of the online ticket purchase service.
The failure in the Ukrzaliznytsia systems, which occurred on March 23, was caused by a large-scale cyberattack. Online ticket sales remained unavailable, the company worked offline.
