Three more Ukrainian children were rescued from the temporarily occupied territory. This was reported by the head of the Presidential Office, Andrii Yermak, on his Telegram channel.
"Among them is the child of a Ukrainian military man, who stopped speaking due to the horrors of the occupation, a baby whose mother was threatened with having her child taken away and sent to a boarding school, and a teenager who was finally reunited with his family after a long separation and constant threats from the occupiers," he wrote.
As we will recall, Yermak previously said that 1.6 million Ukrainian children are under russian control - they have been deported or forced to live in occupation.
In 2024, Ukraine managed to return home 449 Ukrainian children whom russia illegally deported, took away, or held in the temporarily occupied territories.
