The statements of the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country russia about Ukraine's alleged violation of the ceasefire conditions regarding energy facilities do not correspond to reality.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"Yes, on March 25-26, the Ukrainian Defense Forces did not launch UAV strikes on Russian energy facilities in the Kursk and Bryansk Oblasts, as well as on energy facilities in the territory of Crimea temporarily occupied by the Russians," the report says.
The General Staff emphasizes that the military department of the aggressor country is spreading false and baseless accusations in order to prolong the war, continue false propaganda and typical russian attempts to deceive the world.
Thus, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied the russian Ministry of Defense's report about the alleged attack on russian civilian energy infrastructure by Ukrainian strike drones on March 25-26 and accusations of disrupting the agreements reached with the United States.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that on the night of March 26, the aggressor country russia attacked Ukraine with 117 strike drones, which, after the ceasefire negotiations, is proof that the russian federation is not going to make real peace.
Advisor to the President of Ukraine Dmytro Lytvyn reported that since March 18, when putin allegedly ordered to stop strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, at least eight hits on Ukrainian energy facilities have been recorded.
On March 25, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov reported that, following the March 23-25 talks between the US and Ukrainian and US and russian delegations in Saudi Arabia, all parties agreed to ensure safe navigation in the Black Sea and implement a ban on attacks on energy infrastructure.
