After the talks in Riyadh and the declaration of a truce regarding strikes on energy facilities, at least eight strikes on Ukrainian energy facilities have been recorded since March 18.
The Advisor to the President of Ukraine, Dmytro Lytvyn, reported this on X.
"Moscow is a city built on lies, this does not surprise anyone in Ukraine. For example, in their statement after the meetings in Riyadh, the Russians stated that the ceasefire on energy facilities is supposedly in effect from March 18. Why March 18? Because it was then that they released a frankly fake story that Putin allegedly ordered to stop strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure," he stressed.
According to him, after March 18, russia continues to strike Ukrainian energy facilities with bombs, strike drones, and FPV drones.
In particular, eight hits on energy facilities have already been recorded. "Every night, our air defense forces shoot down about a hundred strike drones - and many of them were probably aimed at other energy facilities. If it weren't for our defenders, there could have been many more hits," the Presidential Advisor added.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 25, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov said following the negotiations that all parties had agreed to ensure the safety of shipping in the Black Sea.
Following the US negotiations with Ukraine and the aggressor country russia in Saudi Arabia, all parties agreed to ensure safe shipping in the Black Sea and to implement a ban on strikes on energy infrastructure.
