On March 21, 142 combat clashes took place on the front, the hottest were on the Pokrovsk (37 clashes), Kursk (23) and Lyman (22) axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched one missile strike on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements using one missile, as well as 85 air strikes, dropping 134 KABs.
In addition, the enemy carried out 6,407 attacks, including 199 from multiple launch rocket systems, and involved about three thousand kamikaze drones for destruction.
On March 21, 142 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
Thus, on the Kharkiv axis, the enemy tried to break through the defensive lines 6 times in the area of the settlement of Vovchansk.
On the Kupiansk axis, 6 attacks were repelled in the areas of Holubivka, Kruhliakivka, Zahryzove and Pishchane.
On the Lyman axis, 22 attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Kopanky, Novomykhailivka, Nove, Zelena Dolyna, Yampolivka, Torske and Ivanivka.
On the Siversk axis, the enemy made 5 attempts to advance in the areas of Bilohorivka, Rozdolivka, as well as towards Ivano-Daryivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the occupiers attacked 4 times in the areas of Chasiv Yar and towards Predtechyne.
On the Toretsk axis, the enemy made 19 attacks near the settlements of Dachne, Druzhba, Dyliivka and Toretsk.
On the Pokrovsk axis, 37 assault actions of the aggressor were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Zelene Pole, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Udachne, Preobrazhenka, Bohdanivka, and Andriivka.
On the Novopavlivka axis, the enemy carried out 11 attacks in the direction of Kostiantynopil, Dniproenerhiya, and Rozlyv over the past day.
On the Huliaipole axis, the defenders repelled two enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Novosilka and Pryvilne.
On the Dnieper axis, one enemy attack was repelled.
On the Orikhiv axis, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.
In the Kursk Oblast of the russian federation, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 23 attacks of the invaders, one battle continued as of 8 a.m.
The enemy also launched 18 air strikes, dropping 25 KABs and carrying out 276 attacks, nine of which were from MLRS.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 26 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, an air defense system, five artillery systems and an enemy command post.
In total, the losses of the russian occupiers on March 20 amounted to 1,210 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 20, 166 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest being on the Pokrovsk (53 clashes) and Toretsk (25 clashes) axes.
