On March 20, 166 combat clashes took place on the front, the hottest were on the Pokrovsk (53 clashes) and Toretsk (25 clashes) axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched two missile strikes using three missiles on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, as well as 94 air strikes, dropping 151 KABs.
In addition, the enemy carried out 6,449 attacks, including 187 from multiple launch rocket systems, and involved about three thousand kamikaze drones for destruction.
On March 20, 166 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
Thus, on the Kharkiv axis, the enemy tried to break through the defensive lines 9 times near the settlements of Kindrashivka, Mala Shapkivka, Hlyboke and Vovchansk.
On the Kupiansk axis, 8 attacks were repelled in the areas of Pishchane, Ivanivka, Kruhliakivka, Zahryzove, as well as in the direction of Petropavlivka.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 22 times in the directions of Nove, Novomykhailivka and near Yampolivka, Kopanky and Nadiya.
On the Siversk axis, 3 attacks were repelled in the area of Bilohorivka, as well as in the directions of Verkhniokamianske and Ivano-Daryivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, 4 attacks were repelled in the areas of Minkivka, Stupochky and towards Oleksandro-Shultyne and Predtechyne.
On the Toretsk axis, 25 attacks were repelled near the settlements of Dachne, Druzhba and Toretsk.
On the Pokrovsk axis, the defenders stopped 53 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Panteleimonivka, Oleksandropil, Zelene Pole, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Novotoretske, Promin, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Preobrazhenka and Andriivka, as well as in the axes of Muravka and Kotliarivka.
On the Novopavlivka axis, 15 attacks were repelled in the direction of Shevchenko and in the areas of Vilne Pole, Kostiantynopil and Rozlyv.
On the Orikhiv axis, 4 attacks were repelled in the direction of Shcherbaky and Stepove.
On the Huliaipole and Dnieper axes, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions.
On the Kursk axis in the russian federation, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 18 attacks by the invaders, the enemy also launched 18 air strikes, using 27 KABs, and carried out 363 attacks, 4 of which were from MLRS.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit 11 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, two air defense systems, two artillery systems, an ammunition depot and one enemy pontoon crossing.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders on March 20 amounted to 1,330 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 19, 155 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest were on the Pokrovsk (47 clashes), Kursk (22) and Toretsk (21) axes.
