Russia has lost over 900,000 occupiers since start of full-scale war – Syrskyi

The losses of the russian occupiers since the start of full-scale aggression against Ukraine have exceeded 900,000 people.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported this on his Telegram channel on Friday, March 21.

"Thanks to the professional combat work of all components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, the total losses of the enemy in personnel have exceeded 900,000 people. Since the beginning of 2024, in a year and almost three months, the total losses of the russian occupiers have amounted to over half a million people (540,790)," Syrskyi wrote.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 21, the losses of russian troops increased by 1,330 to 900,800 people over March 20, and Ukrainian defenders destroyed 17 tanks, 28 armored combat vehicles, 101 artillery systems, and 185 drones over the past day.

Since the beginning of 2025, the losses of the russian occupiers have exceeded 100,000 people.

On March 6, the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and now the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, stated that Ukraine lost 50,000 people killed during the full-scale war with the aggressor country russia, and about 300,000 were injured.
