Russia launches 214 drones over Ukraine. Air Forces give details of night attack

On the night of Friday, March 21, the russian troops launched 214 drones over the territory of Ukraine, the air defense forces managed to shoot down 114 of them, another 81 drones did not reach their targets (lost in location).

The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that on the night of March 21 (from 8 p.m. on March 20), the enemy attacked with 214 Shahed-type strike UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions: Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (all – russia) and Cape Chauda (TOT Crimea).

"As of 9:30 a.m., it has been confirmed that 114 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones have been shot down in the south, north and center of the country. 81 enemy simulator drones have been lost in location (without negative consequences)," the report says.

The russian attack affected the Odesa, Khmelnytskyi, Sumy and Kyiv Regions.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of March 20, the russians launched 171 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 75 of them, another 63 drones did not reach their targets (lost in location).
