The Ukrenergo national energy company ended 2024 with a loss of UAH 37.7 billion.
This is announced in the company's financial report published on the analytical platform YouControl, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The report states that net sales revenue in 2024 increased by 21% compared to 2023 to UAH 101.1 billion.
It is noted that Ukrenergo's financial expenses increased significantly to UAH 38 billion and other operating expenses to UAH 26.9 billion.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukrenergo ended 2023 with a profit of UAH 400 million.
Ukrenergo provides dispatching of Ukraine's power system and transmits electricity from power plants to the networks of energy supply companies.
In addition, the company is entrusted with the functions of organizer of auctions for access to the intersection of interstate power transmission lines for the export of electricity.
