President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told US President Donald Trump that Ukraine agrees to stop strikes on the energy infrastructure of the aggressor country, russia.

Bloomberg reported this with reference to its own sources.

An unnamed source of the agency said that Zelenskyy conveyed this message to Trump during a telephone conversation that took place on the evening of March 19.

The agency's source added that Zelenskyy and Trump agreed to work on further expanding the ceasefire.

Later, the American leader told on the social network Truth Social what he talked about with Zelenskyy on the phone.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on March 18, President Trump had a telephone conversation with russian dictator putin, following which the Kremlin leader agreed to stop strikes on energy infrastructure facilities.

The Kremlin website stated after the leaders' conversation that putin demanded a halt to arms supplies to Ukraine for a complete ceasefire along the entire front line.
