Military aid to Ukraine, and in particular the intelligence component, has been restored. However, the administration of President Donald Trump is seeking to end the war.
Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said this during a briefing.
"US military aid to Ukraine has been restored, as has intelligence sharing with our Ukrainian partners," the defense department spokesman said.
According to him, the current US administration is focused on achieving peace, but is also actively working to support Ukraine and end the casualties in this war.
"And that is why President Trump, together with the national security team, including Secretary of Defense Hegseth, have been actively involved, have been intensively interacting with Ukraine and Russia in attempts to achieve peace," Parnell said.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 11, following negotiations in Saudi Arabia, the United States decided to resume intelligence sharing and military assistance to Ukraine.
Recall, on March 4, US President Donald Trump ordered the suspension of all military assistance to Ukraine.
The US also stopped sharing intelligence with Ukraine, which made the HIMARS systems unusable.
In addition, Maxar Technologies blocked Ukraine's access to satellite images after the US ordered it to do so.
