Nova Poshta receives license to supply electricity

The Nova-Energy energy company, part of the NOVA group (Nova Poshta), has received a license to supply electricity.

The Nova Poshta company announced this on its Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"From now on, Nova-Energy will be able not only to meet the needs of Nova Poshta, but also to enter the open electricity market," the message says.

It is noted that the process of obtaining a permit lasted 2 months.

The corresponding decision was made on March 4, 2025 by the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities.

"To issue a license to the LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY "NOVA-ENERGY" (EDRPOU code 45428547) for the right to conduct economic activities in the supply of electricity to consumers," resolution No. 295 states.

The NOVA group includes Ukrainian and international companies, including the logistics company Nova Poshta in Ukraine, Nova Post Europe, Nova Global, the airline Supernova Airlines, the financial company NovaPay, as well as the IT company Nova Digital.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Nova Poshta launched parcel delivery to its own points in ten cities in the Czech Republic.
