Explosion in Ivano-Frankivsk. Guy, who suffered from explosion, lost his legs

One of the guys, who suffered from the explosion near the railway station in Ivano-Frankivsk yesterday, lost both legs. He continues to be in serious condition.

This was reported by the mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk, Ruslan Martsinkiv.

The guy had both legs amputated and was transferred to the intensive care unit.

Two more teenagers were with him: a girl who is currently in a moderate condition, and another guy who is in the hospital with minor injuries.

It is currently unknown what exactly exploded.

As a reminder, the explosion occurred on March 11 in Ivano-Frankivsk near the railway station, near apartment buildings on Pryvokzalna Street. One teenager was killed and three others were injured.

Later, another explosion was heard: about 100 meters from the first one, on the 9th floor of a high-rise building. A fire broke out. Rescuers took four people out of the dangerous place, who were not injured.

According to preliminary data, explosive devices went off in both places. However, the police cannot say whether this was a terrorist attack.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 20, three cars were damaged in Odesa as a result of an explosion of an unknown object.

On February 9, in Sumy, a 13-year-old boy brought home spare parts that looked like an engine that he found on the street. After some time, one of these objects exploded.
