Explosions at Ivano-Frankivsk train station. Casualties reported - mayor Martsynkiv

Explosions have been heard near the Ivano-Frankivsk train station. According to preliminary information, there are casualties as a result of the incident.

This was reported by the mayor of the city, Ruslan Martsynkiv, on Facebook on Tuesday, March 11.

According to him, as a result of the explosions near the train station, people were killed and a fire broke out. There was also an explosion in an apartment nearby and a fire broke out. The relevant services are working at the scene, Martsynkiv noted.

The Ivano-Frankivsk police said that the explosions near the train station on Pryvokzalna Street occurred at around 6:30 p.m. It is currently known that 2 explosions occurred near apartment buildings, as a result of which three people were injured. The police have not yet confirmed the casualties.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 20, three cars were damaged in Odesa due to the explosion of an unknown object.

On February 9, in Sumy, a 13-year-old boy brought home spare parts found on the street that looked like an engine. After some time, one of these objects exploded.

On February 7, in the Kharkiv Region, a 10-year-old boy was killed in the explosion of an unknown explosive object in one of the private houses.
