Putin doesn't want to compromise on 3 issues regarding Ukraine - Bloomberg

Russian dictator vladimir putin is not going to compromise on territories, peacekeepers deployment and Ukraine's neutrality.

Bloomberg reported this on Tuesday, March 11, citing Western officials.

According to the publication, putin deliberately put forward "maximalist" demands before talks to end the war, knowing in advance that they would be unacceptable to Ukraine and its European allies. The russian dictator is ready to continue the war even if he fails to achieve his goals, Western officials believe.

"Russian president vladimir putin has no intention of compromising on territorial demands, peacekeepers and Ukraine's neutrality in any peace talks, which complicates President Donald Trump's efforts to achieve a credible settlement," the material says.

Putin's intentions do not indicate his readiness for serious negotiations on a long-term peace with Ukraine, and also contradict Trump's statements about the russian dictator's readiness for peace, writes Bloomberg.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on March 1, Trump said that russian dictator putin allegedly wants to conclude a peace agreement and end the war.

On March 5, White House National Security Advisor Mike Waltz said that Trump would consider restoring aid to Ukraine if peace talks are organized and confidence-building measures are taken.

On March 6, Trump's Special Envoy to russia and Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, said that Washington had stopped military aid to Kyiv in order to force it to conclude a deal.
