US President Donald Trump will consider the possibility of restoring aid to Ukraine if peace talks are organized and confidence-building measures are taken.
White House National Security Adviser Mike Walz stated this on Wednesday, Reuters reports.
"I think if we can nail down these negotiations and move towards these negotiations, and in fact, put some confidence-building measures on the table, then the president will take a hard look at lifting this pause," Walz said in an interview with Fox News.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 4, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is ready for peace talks.
Zelenskyy will also not apologize to US President Donald Trump, since he "did not offend anyone" and considers his visit to the White House "a sign of respect."
US President Donald Trump told Congress that he had received an official letter from Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy, which stated Ukraine's readiness for negotiations to establish peace, as well as its agreement to sign a mineral agreement.
