The Defense Forces of Ukraine hit the Moscow Oil Refinery and the Druzhba Oil Pipeline dispatch station in the Oryol Oblast of the aggressor country of russia.
This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that units of the Unmanned Systems Forces and Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, on the night of March 11, struck a number of strategic russian objects involved in ensuring armed aggression against Ukraine.
"In particular, a hit was recorded on the production facilities of the Moscow Oil Refinery, which is capable of processing 11 million tons of oil per year and provides 40-50% of the city of Moscow's needs for diesel and gasoline. Explosions were also recorded in the area of the Steel Horse linear production control station (Oryol Oblast, RF), which provides control of the technological processes of the Druzhba Oil Pipeline and is an important component in the processes of supplying oil to the Ust-Luga seaport terminal in the Leningrad Oblast," the report says.
The General Staff notes that it is known from open sources that as a result of the actions of the russian aggressor's air defense, a number of civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.
The General Staff emphasizes that the Defense Forces of Ukraine have detailed information about strategic facilities involved in ensuring the armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine, adhere to the norms of international humanitarian law and take measures to maximally protect the civilian population.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on March 10, the General Staff reported that the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck a number of important strategic facilities of the russian aggressor, in particular, 2 oil refineries were hit - in the Ryazan and Samara Oblasts.
