The Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces hit oil refineries in the Ryazan and Samara Oblasts of the aggressor country, russia.
This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thus, it is reported that on the night of March 9, an oil refinery involved in supplying the invaders' army was hit in the Ryazan Oblast of the russian federation. Explosions were recorded in the area of the Defense Forces target. It is noted that the Ryazan refinery produced an average of 840,000 tons of the highest grade fuel for jet engines. Aviation kerosene of the TS-1 brand produced by it was actively used by the aggressor's aircraft in the processes of strikes on the territory of Ukraine.
In addition, on the night of March 10, a hit was recorded on the production facilities of the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery in the Samara Oblast. Fuel from this refinery is transported by a system of product pipelines and railways to provide support for the enemy's troops in the northern direction.
Detailed information on the consequences of the destruction of the facilities is currently being clarified.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported as of Monday morning, March 10, the army of the aggressor country russia had lost 1,190 soldiers, 40 armored combat vehicles, and 241 unmanned aerial vehicles in the war with Ukraine.
