He also expressed hope for successful negotiations between representatives of the US and Ukraine, which will take place at the beginning of the week in Saudi Arabia.
"I believe that we will make significant progress this week," Trump said in a comment to Reuters.
In addition, he said that his administration is considering various options for sanctions against russia. At the same time, the American President noted that Washington is not concerned about the military exercises involving China, Iran and the russian federation.
