Russian army regains control over 3 settlements in Kursk Oblast. DeepState shows updated map

The army of the aggressor country russia has allegedly regained control over three settlements in the Kursk Oblast, which have been under the control of the Defense Forces of Ukraine since August 2024.

Analysts from the Ukrainian project DeepState reported this on March 9.

In the morning, DeepState analysts updated their interactive map of hostilities, noting the russian advance in the north and west of the territory held by the Ukrainian military.

It is alleged that the russians managed to regain control over the settlement of Lebedevka (circled on the left) and advance in Cherkasskoe Porechnoe (circled on top).

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on March 8, Time magazine wrote, citing its own sources, that the cessation of intelligence sharing between the United States and Ukraine had helped the russians advance in the Kursk Oblast.

According to the British publication The Telegraph, as a result of the breakthrough of the front line by russian troops, about 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers allegedly got under threat of encirclement in the Kursk Oblast.

And the New York Post wrote, citing unnamed sources, that the Ukrainian Defense Forces may allegedly withdraw from the territory of the Kursk Oblast within the next two weeks.
