The russian federation attacked Ukraine on the night of March 9 with 119 strike UAVs, of which 73 were shot down, and the occupiers also sent more than 30 drones to the capital of Ukraine.
The Air Forces reported this on its Telegram channel.
According to the military, another 37 drones were declared "lost in location".
The drone launch sites were: Oryol, Millerovo, Kursk, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in russia and Chauda in Crimea.
The downing of drones was confirmed in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv Regions.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, explosions were heard during the attack by enemy drones in Kyiv. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported this on the night of March 9.
On the night of March 8, the enemy attacked with two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles and one Iskander-K cruise missile and 145 Shahed strike UAVs, of which 79 were shot down.
On the night of Friday, March 7, the russian occupiers carried out a combined strike with various types of air, ground and sea-based missiles on critical infrastructure facilities. The main focus of the strike was on the facilities of Ukraine's gas production industry.
