Russia launched 33 strike drones at Kyiv on the night of March 9.
The Kyiv City Military Administration has reported this on its Telegram channel.
"At night, 33 enemy UAVs were recorded on the approaches to the capital. 12 of them were destroyed by air defense, the rest were lost or left the airspace. There is no information about damage and casualties due to falling debris," the report says.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, air defense in Kyiv was working on strike drones at night, explosions were heard in the city.
On the night of March 8, the enemy attacked with two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles and one Iskander-K cruise missile and 145 Shahed strike UAVs, of which 79 were shot down.
On the night of Friday, March 7, the russian occupiers carried out a combined strike using various types of air, ground, and sea-based missiles on critical infrastructure facilities. The main focus of the strike was on Ukraine's gas production facilities.
