The Ukrainian Defense Forces have used French Mirage 2000 fighter jets for the first time to destroy russian missiles. This happened on the morning of March 7 during a massive air attack on Ukraine.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.
The military published several photos taken with the helmet camera of one of the Ukrainian Air Force pilots, who participated in repelling the occupiers' missile attack.
"Historical photos from a Ukrainian pilot! Air Force Mirage 2000 fighters shoot down Kh-101 cruise missiles in the Ukrainian sky," the caption to the published photos reads.
The photos show footage of a Mirage 2000 pilot firing an air-to-air missile at a russian missile, as well as the moment the occupiers' target was destroyed.

Recall that on the night of March 6-7, the aggressor country of russia carried out a large-scale air attack on Ukraine, using several dozen missiles and about two hundred drones.
Air defense systems were able to shoot down 34 missiles and 100 drones. Another ten missiles and almost 90 drones did not reach their targets.
As stated in the Ukrainian Air Force, the Ukrainian military used Mirage 2000 fighters for the first time to repel March 7 russian attack.
