On the night of March 7, 2025, russian troops launched a missile strike on the territory of Ukraine.
According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Kalibr cruise missiles were launched from the Black Sea.
The first missile launches were recorded over the Kherson Region, after which they moved in a north-westerly direction. Later, the missiles were spotted in the Black Sea waters, their course was directed towards the Odesa Region.
The Air Force also reported high-speed targets launched from the Donetsk Region in the direction of the Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv Regions.
Later, the missiles were recorded in the airspace of the Khmelnytskyi, Chernivtsi and Ivano-Frankivsk Regions. It was also reported that the missiles were moving through the Dnipropetrovsk Region in the direction of the Poltava Region, as well as a change in the course of one of the missile groups to the Mykolaiv Region.
The last group of missiles was recorded in the southwest of the Sumy Region, their course was directed to the south of the Chernihiv Region.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the end of the missile threat at 07:22 am.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of Thursday, March 6, russian troops launched two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles and 112 strike drones over the territory of Ukraine. Air defense forces managed to shoot down 68 drones, another 43 drones did not reach their targets (lost in location).
