Ukraine ups electricity imports by 30% to 244,000 MWh in February

In February, compared to January, Ukraine increased electricity imports by almost 30% to 244,000 MWh.

This is announced by the ExPro publication, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The largest share in the structure of electricity imports in February is occupied by Hungary (35.0%), Slovakia is in second place (30.0%).

The least electricity was supplied from Moldova (part of the volumes is possibly reimported from Romania).

It is noted that imports from Hungary increased by 77% during the month.

In February 2025, electricity imports increased 2.9 times compared to February 2024.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in January, compared to December, Ukraine reduced electricity imports by 56% to almost 189,000 MWh.
