Zelenskyy says at meeting with Trump that agreement on minerals is not enough to end war

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the agreement between Ukraine and the United States on minerals is not enough to end the full-scale war waged by the aggressor country russia.

Zelenskyy said this during a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump in the Oval Office of the White House on Friday, February 28.

According to him, the document alone is not enough to end the war.

"Russian soldiers will be afraid of us if we are strong. If we are not strong enough, if we are empty, if our warehouses are empty, we will not be able to defend ourselves," the President said.

Recall that yesterday, February 28, President Zelenskyy arrived on a visit to the United States, in particular, to meet with his American counterpart Donald Trump.

Earlier, the French television network BFM TV reported, citing its own sources, that Trump allegedly did not want to receive Zelenskyy, but was persuaded by French President Emmanuel Macron.

Later, Trump publicly stated that Zelenskyy would visit Washington to sign a "very big deal."

This is an agreement on minerals and rare earth minerals. According to Trump, the signing of this document will be a pillar for Ukraine.
