On February 24, totally 98 combat clashes took place on the front, the enemy attacked most actively on the Pokrovsk axis (28 clashes) and the Novopavlivka axis (13 clashes).
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out 85 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 117 guided bombs.
In addition, the enemy carried out about 5,000 attacks, including 108 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,438 kamikaze drones to destroy them.

Thus, on the Kharkiv axis, the invaders twice tried to break through the defensive lines of the Ukrainian defenders near Vovchansk.
On the Kupiansk axis, there were 11 attacks by the invaders.
Ukrainian defenders repelled the enemy's assault actions near Petropavlivka, Zahryzove and Nova Kruhliakivka.
On the Lyman axis, the russians attacked six times, trying to wedge into the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the settlements of Zelena Dolyna, Borivska Andriivka, Novoliubivka, Dibrova and Katerynivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the invaders attacked twice in the areas of Chasiv Yar and Stupochky.
On the Toretsk axis, the enemy carried out 11 attacks on the areas of Toretsk and Krymske.
On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 28 assault actions of the aggressor towards the settlements of Vodiane Druhe, Promin, Pokrovsk, Leontovychi, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Nadiivka, Troitske, Andriivka, Tarasivka and Ulakly.
On the Novopavlivka axis, the enemy carried out 13 attacks towards Kostiantynopil and Burlatske.
On the Huliaipole axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled one attack near Novopil.
On the Orikhiv axis, the occupation troops stormed the positions of the Defense Forces three times in the areas of Mali Shcherbaky and Kamianske.
On the Dnieper axis, the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully repelled two offensive actions of the invaders towards the settlement of Sadove.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their operation in the Kursk Oblast, where the enemy carried out 34 airstrikes on the past day, dropping 43 KABs, and carried out 375 attacks, 17 of them from MLRS.
Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 assault actions of the invaders in the Kursk Oblast.
On the Siversk axis, during the past day, the enemy did not conduct active actions.
On February 24, the missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces inflicted damage in three areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, a command post and an enemy’s Buk-M3 anti-aircraft missile system.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders over the past day amounted to 1,300 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on February 23, totally 96 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest being on the Pokrovsk axis (22 clashes) and in the operational zone on the Kursk Oblast of the russian federation (19 clashes).
