On February 23, 96 combat clashes took place at the front, the hottest of which was in the Pokrovsk Axis (22 clashes) and in the operational zone in the Kursk Oblast of the russian federation (19 clashes).
This was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched three missile strikes using four missiles on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, as well as 52 air strikes, dropping 106 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the enemy carried out more than 5,000 shelling, including 145 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 3,250 kamikaze drones for destruction.

Thus, in the Kharkiv Axis, the russians twice tried to break through the defensive lines of the Ukrainian defenders in the direction of Vovchansk and Zapadne.
In the Kupyansk Axis, there were four attacks by the invaders.
Ukrainian defenders repelled the enemy's assault actions in the areas of Petropavlivka, Zahryzove and in the direction of Bohuslavka.
In the Lyman Axis, the enemy attacked 15 times, trying to wedge into the Ukrainian defenses near the settlements of Torske, Novoyehorivka, Novoliubivka, Yampolivka, Kuzmyne and in the direction of Nove, Novoplatonivka, Shyikivka, Zelena Dolyna, Cherneshchyna.
In the Siversk Axis, the Defense Forces repelled two offensive actions of the invaders in the areas of Bilohorivka and Ivano-Daryivka.
In the Kramatorsk Axis, two clashes were recorded near Chasiv Yar and in the direction of Oleksandro-Shultyne.
In the Toretsk Axis, the enemy carried out nine attacks in the Toretsk and Krymske areas.
In the Pokrovsk Axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 22 assault actions of the aggressor towards the settlements of Promin, Kotlyne, Andriyivka, Bohdanivka, Ulakly, Novoserhiyivka, Molodetske, Leontovychi, Pokrovsk, Myroliubivka and Vodiane Druhe.
In the Novopavlivsk Axis, the enemy carried out 11 attacks in the directions of Kostiantynopil and Burlatske.
In the Orikhiv Axis, the occupation forces once stormed the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the settlement of Stepove.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue the operation in the Kursk Oblast, where over the past day the enemy carried out 22 air strikes, dropping 45 guided aerial bombs, and carried out 374 attacks, seven of which were from MLRS.
Ukrainian defenders repelled 19 assault actions of the invaders in the Kursk Oblast.
In the Huliaipole and Prydniprovsk Axes of the past day, the enemy did not conduct active operations.
On February 23, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck three areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, five command posts and one UAV control post of the enemy.
In total, the losses of the russian occupiers of the past day amounted to 1,050 people.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 21, 90 combat clashes took place at the front, the largest number of which was in the Pokrovsk Axis (29 clashes).
Meanwhile, the General Staff confirmed the defeat of a strategic facility in the russian federation.
