On February 20, 121 combat clashes took place on the front, the largest number of which was on the Pokrovsk (34 clashes) and Kursk (29) axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy launched three missile and 93 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, used 17 missiles and dropped 151 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the enemy carried out more than 5,500 attacks, 129 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,650 kamikaze drones for destruction.
On February 20, 121 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
Thus, on the Kharkiv axis, over the past day, 3 enemy attacks were repelled in the direction of Vovchansk and Zapadne.
On the Kupiansk axis, 7 combat clashes took place near Zahryzove and Petropavlivka.
On the Lyman axis, five enemy attacks were repelled, mostly on the areas of the settlements of Yampolivka and Kolodiazi.
On the Siversk axis, 2 attacks were repelled near Bilohorivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, 4 attempts by the invaders to advance near Vasiukivka and Chasiv Yar were stopped.
On the Toretsk axis, the enemy tried to advance 10 times on the Toretsk area.
On the Pokrovsk axis, 34 attacks were repelled near the settlements of Promin, Pokrovsk, Pishchane, Lysivka, Vodiane Druhe, Serhiivka, Nadiivka, Bohdanivka, Sribne, Andriivka, Ulakly, etc.
On the Novopavlivka axis, 12 attacks were repelled near Kostiantynopil, Rozdolne, Novoocheretuvate and Pryvilne.
On the Huliaipole axis, the enemy tried to advance three times in the Novosilka and Novopil areas.
On the Orikhiv axis, 5 assaults were repelled on the Novoandriivka and Stepove areas.
In the Kursk Oblast of the russian federation, over the past day, the enemy conducted 29 assaults on the positions of Ukrainian units, carried out 19 air strikes, dropped 25 KABs and carried out 479 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, in particular, 9 from multiple launch rocket systems.
On the Dnieper axis, over the past day, the enemy did not conduct active offensive operations.
On February 20, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 8 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, a control point, two electronic warfare stations and 10 artillery systems of the russian invaders.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders over the past day amounted to 1,280 people.
