On February 18, 156 combat clashes took place at the front, with the occupiers attacking most of all in the Pokrovsk (50 clashes) and Toretsk (18) Axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy has launched 3 missile and 94 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, using 4 missiles and 144 guided bombs.
In addition, the enemy has carried out more than 5,600 shelling, 89 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and has used 2,386 kamikaze drones to strike.
On February 18, 156 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded at the front.
Thus, in the Kharkiv Axis, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled two enemy attacks in the directions of the settlements of Mala Shapkivka and Topoli.
In the Kupyansk Axis, 16 combat clashes took place near Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Zahryzove and Lozova.
In the Lyman Axis, the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped 12 enemy attacks.
The invaders concentrated their main efforts in the areas of the settlements of Kopanky, Makiyivka, Novoliubivka and Yampolivka.
In the Siversk Axis, near the settlements of Bilohorivka, Hryhorivka and Verkhniokamyanske, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled four russian attacks.
In the Kramatorsk Axis, Ukrainian soldiers stopped three attempts by the invaders to advance near Vasiukivka and in the direction of Oleksandro-Shultynohe.
In the Toretsk Axis, the enemy tried to advance 18 times in the areas of Krymske, Dyliyivka, Toretsk and Shcherbynivka.
In the Pokrovsk Axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled 50 attacks in the past day.
The enemy troops were most active near the settlements of Tarasivka, Vodiane Druhe, Malynivka, Promin, Pishchane, Kotlyne, Nadiyivka, Kotliarivka, Novooleksandrivka, Zaporizhzhia, Oleksiyivka, Novotoretske, Andriyivka, Dachne, Shevchenko and Ulakly.
The Defense Forces continue to hold back the russians in the Novopavlivka Axis.
In the area of Rozdolne and in the Axes of Konstiantynopil and Burlatske, the invaders tried to break through the Ukrainian defense lines 17 times.
In the Huliaypole Axis, the enemy made 14 attempts to advance in the areas of Novosilka and Novopol.
In the Orikhiv Axis, the occupation forces carried out six assaults on the positions of Ukrainian troops in the areas of Novoandriyivka, Stepove and Mali Shcherbaky.
The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct operations in the Kursk Axis, where the enemy last day carried out 10 assaults on the positions of Ukrainian units, launched 35 air strikes, dropping 44 guided aerial bombs, and carried out 502 shelling of the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, including four with MLRS.
In the Prydniprovsk Axis, the enemy did not conduct active operations.
Last day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck eight areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, five artillery systems, four command posts, one air defense system, as well as two other important objects of the russian invaders.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders on February 18 amounted to 1,300 people.
