In Berdiansk, "deputy head" of occupation administration Bogdanov eliminated - Defense Intelligence

Today, on February 20, in the temporarily occupied Berdiansk of the Zaporizhzhia Region, the so-called deputy head of the occupation administration Yevgeny Bogdanov was eliminated.

This is stated in the message of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

"On February 20, 2025, at 6:05 a.m. near house 96 on Vostochnyi Avenue in the temporarily occupied Berdiansk, a gray Renault Duster car exploded - burned to the ground. Russian occupation services arrived at the scene. Inside the car was the war criminal Bogdanov Yevgeny Yurievich - a citizen of the aggressor state of russia, who formally held the position of the so-called deputy head of the occupation administration of Berdiansk," it says.

According to the Defense Intelligence, the responsibilities of the russian invader included, in particular, control over finances in the occupation administration and organizing the construction of fortifications in the temporarily occupied areas of the Zaporizhzhia Region.

The department noted that during his stay in the occupied Ukrainian territories, Bogdanov repeatedly committed war crimes against citizens of Ukraine.

"The war criminal was born on August 11, 1970 in the city of Pikalevo, Boksitogorsk district, Leningrad Oblast. He arrived in Berdiansk immediately after the capture of the city by the troops of the aggressor state in 2022. He was appointed to the occupation administration on the instructions of the russian special services," the Defense Intelligence said.

As Ukrainian News Agency reported, earlier the Defense Intelligence showed the destruction of expensive russian electronic warfare systems Zhitel right at the factory in Voronezh.
