Defense Intelligence shows destruction of expensive russian electronic warfare systems "Zhitel" right at factory in Voronezh

On the night of January 28, two electronic warfare systems R-330Zh "Zhitel" were destroyed in the russian city of Voronezh, which were supposed to be sent to the combat zone.

The Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has said this in a statement, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

"On the night of January 27-28, 2025, 2 expensive enemy electronic warfare systems R-330Zh "Zhitel" were destroyed in Voronezh, Russia. These automated stations were located at the Protek plant, where they are manufactured," the report says.

It is indicated that the russians planned to send the R-330Zh electronic warfare systems to the combat zone of the criminal war against Ukraine, but a fire in Voronezh "devoured" both "Zhitels".
