Musk accuses Zelenskyy of "cancelling election"

American billionaire and head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Elon Musk believes that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy cannot represent Ukraine at the talks because he is allegedly "cancelling the election."

Musk wrote about this on the social network X.

“Zelensky cannot claim to represent the will of the people of Ukraine unless he restores freedom of the press and stops canceling elections!” he wrote.

This is how the billionaire reacted to Volodymyr Zelenskyy's words that US President Donald Trump is in an "environment of disinformation."

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 19, US President Donald Trump called Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy a "dictator without elections" and said that Zelenskyy had convinced the US to "spend USD 350 billion on war."

Trump also wrote that Zelenskyy's approval rating had allegedly fallen to 4%, which is why Ukraine is demanding elections.

US Vice President J.D. Vance warned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy against making statements about President Donald Trump. Public attacks on the American leader will only backfire.
