On February 19, the official White House page on the X social network posted an image of US President Donald Trump in a crown, stylized as a magazine cover. This is how the administration reacted to Trump's decision to cancel the "congestion pricing" introduced by his predecessor Joe Biden in New York.
Earlier, New York became the first US city to charge a fee for entering the center during rush hour - from USD 2.25 at night to USD 9 during the busiest time. This measure was intended to reduce congestion and air pollution, but it attracted criticism due to possible inconvenience for those who travel to the city for work.
On his social network Truth, Trump commented on his decision as follows: "Congestion pricing is dead. Manhattan, and all of New York, is saved. Long live the king!" He also emphasized that "every American should have access to New York regardless of their economic capabilities."
As Ukrainian News Agency reported, US President Donald Trump said that elections should be held in Ukraine because Volodymyr Zelenskyy allegedly has a very low level of support among citizens.
