USA conducts test of ICBM

The US military conducted a test launch of the Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) on February 19.

This was stated in the message of the US Air Force Global Strike Command.

During the tests, which took place at 1 am on February 19 (at 07:00 am, Kyiv time), the United States launched an unarmed intercontinental ballistic missile. The missile traveled approximately 4,200 miles (more than 6,700 kilometers) to the Ronald Reagan Missile Defense Test Site, located in the Marshall Islands.

The command noted that such tests have already been carried out more than 300 times, and the launch is part of the country's commitment to its allies to maintain reliable deterrents.

"This test launch is part of periodic activities designed to demonstrate that the United States' nuclear deterrent is safe, reliable, and effective in deterring 21st century threats and reassuring our allies," the statement said.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the russians launched an intercontinental ballistic missile over the city of Dnipro in the morning of November 21.

Also, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andrii Kovalenko, said that russian dictator vladimir putin was trying to raise the stakes by launching an intercontinental missile over Ukraine.
