This was stated by the spokesman for the department, Andrii Demchenko, in a comment to the RBC-Ukraine agency.
According to him, he has no confirmation of information about the alleged breach of the border by units of the russian army.
"In the areas where the border units are located, no attempts to breach were recorded," Demchenko noted.
He also commented on the information that was disseminated earlier today by a number of russian military channels. They claim that the russian army allegedly entered the settlement of Novenke in the north of the Sumy Region.
The spokesman for the SBGSU denied the russian statement, emphasizing that attempts to breach it were not recorded on this section of the border.
Let us recall that today, February 19, russian dictator vladimir putin stated that units of the 810th Marine Brigade allegedly broke through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and entered the territory of Ukraine.
According to the dictator, the russian army allegedly launched a full-scale offensive on this section of the front.
At the same time, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andrii Kovalenko, said after putin's statement that the russian sabotage and reconnaissance group tried to cross the border, but was destroyed.
