On February 17, 139 combat clashes took place on the front, the enemy attacked most of all on the Pokrovsk (55 clashes) and Novopavlivka (23 clashes) axes.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the invaders launched one missile and 71 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements using two missiles and 99 KABs, attracting 2,923 kamikaze drones for destruction.
The enemy also carried out about 5,000 artillery attacks, 93 of them from multiple launch rocket systems.
On February 17, 139 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
Thus, on the Kharkiv axis, the enemy twice tried in vain to advance in the area of Vovchansk.
On the Kupiansk axis, 10 attacks of the invaders were repelled near the settlements of Topoli, Petropavlivka, Hlushkivka, Zahryzove and in the direction of Novoosynove.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 6 times near Zarichne and Yampolivka.
On the Siversk axis, one enemy attack was repelled near the settlement of Bilohorivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, 6 attacks were repelled near Chasiv Yar.
On the Toretsk axis, 5 attacks were repelled near Toretsk.
On the Pokrovsk axis, the defenders stopped 55 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of Myroliubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Pishchane, Kotlyne, Udachne, Uspenivka, Nadiivka, Yaseneve, Ulakly, Andriivka and Dachne.
On the Novopavlivka axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled 23 attacks by the invaders on the Novosilka, Rivnopil, Novyi Komar area and in the directions of Kostiantynopil and Burlatske.
On the Orikhiv axis, 2 attacks were repelled in the areas of Shcherbaky and Nesterianka.
On the Kursk axis (russia) over the past day, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 13 attacks by the invaders, the enemy also launched 27 air strikes, using 30 KABs, and carried out 573 attacks, 11 of which were from MLRS.
On the remaining axes, the enemy did not conduct active offensive operations.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 8 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, an air defense system, 6 rocket and artillery units and 5 electronic warfare/radar units of the invaders.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders on February 17 amounted to 1,170 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on February 16, 129 combat clashes took place at the front, with the enemy attacking most of the time on the Pokrovsk axis (40 clashes).
