On the night of February 19, drones attacked the Syzran Refinery in the Samara Oblast of the russian federation, after which a fire broke out at the facility. This was reported by the head of the Samara Oblast, Vyacheslav Fedorishchev. After the night attack, the work of the oil refinery was suspended.
This was announced by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC), Andrii Kovalenko, in Telegram.
"The Syzran Refinery is no longer operating after the attack," Kovalenko wrote.
This morning he reported on the attack on the Syzran Refinery, which has a processing capacity of 8.9 million tons of oil per year and plays an important role in providing fuel to the russian army.
OJSC Syzran Oil Refinery is a fuel plant, part of PJSC NK Rosneft.
The airports of Kazan, Nizhnekamsk and Ulyanovsk have temporarily suspended their work due to UAVs for security reasons, Rosaviatsiya announced.
