Overnight into Wednesday, February 19, russian troops launched two ballistic missiles and 167 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 106 drones, another 56 UAVs did not reach their targets (lost in location).
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of February 19 (from 08:00 p.m. on February 18), the enemy attacked Ukraine with 167 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions of Oryol, Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (all - russian federation), and also struck with two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles at the Sumy Region from Voronezh Oblast (russian federation).
"As of 09:00 a.m., it has been confirmed that 106 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of UAVs have been shot down in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Odesa and Mykolaiv Regions. 56 enemy simulator UAVs were lost in location (without negative consequences)," the report says.

The Odesa, Kyiv, Sumy, Cherkasy and Zaporizhzhia Regions were affected by the enemy attack.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on the night of February 18, the russians launched 176 UAVs over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces shot down 103 of them, another 67 UAVs did not reach their targets.
