Russian drones attack Kyiv at night, fire breaks out in Sviatoshynskyi District due to debris hit

On the night of February 17, enemy drones attacked the capital. Air defense forces were operating in the city. As a result of the debris falling, a warehouse caught fire. Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Tymur Tkachenko reported on the operational situation in the city. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko also reported that debris from an enemy UAV fell in the Sviatoshynskyi District. He noted that cars were burning in the courtyard of a residential building.

"Preliminarily, the debris fell in a non-residential area. SESU brigades are working on the site. Work is underway to localize the fire," Tkachenko wrote.

According to him, no other reports regarding the consequences of the enemy attacks have been received. As of now, there is no information about the victims.

The air raid alarm was declared in the capital at 10:10 p.m. It was canceled at 11:06 p.m.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, a russian attack on the night of February 16 caused a fire in the city of Boryspil, and 5 private houses in the Brovary District were damaged.
