On the night of February 16, the russian occupiers attacked the territory of Ukraine with 143 drones and fired two ballistic missiles at the Odesa Region. Air defense forces destroyed 95 UAVs, 46 simulator drones were lost in location.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thus, from 09:00 p.m. on February 15 and during the night of February 16, the enemy attacked with 143 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions of Oryol, Bryansk, Shatalovo - the russian federation and with two ballistic missiles at the Odesa Region from the occupied Crimea.
As of 09:00 a.m., it was confirmed that 95 Shahed attack UAVs and drones of other types were shot down in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk and Mykolaiv Regions.
In addition, 46 enemy simulator drones were lost in location (without negative consequences).
It is indicated that the Kyiv, Sumy, Mykolaiv and Odesa Regions were affected as a result of the enemy attack.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, a fire broke out in the city of Boryspil due to a russian attack on the night of February 16, and 5 private houses in the Brovary district were damaged.
