U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance confirmed that he would go to moscow for peace talks on Ukraine. He told a russian journalist about this backstage at the Munich Security Conference on Friday, February 14.
The russian journalist approached J.D. Vance as he, along with his wife and other members of the delegation, were heading to the meeting room.
"Mr. Vance, are you ready to come to Russia for peace talks on Ukraine?" the media representative asked.
To this, the U.S. Vice President responded quickly and succinctly: "Of course."
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on February 14, J.D. Vance said that the U.S. could impose new sanctions against russia if dictator president putin does not agree to a peace agreement on Ukraine.
On February 14, U.S. President Donald Trump announced a negotiation meeting between representatives of Ukraine and the aggressor country russia to end the war in Saudi Arabia.
Recall that on February 13, Trump said that he had held "great talks" with the aggressor country russia and Ukraine, and that there was a good opportunity to end the war.
