American Republican politician, representative of the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe Joe Wilson has introduced to the US Congress a "Bill on the Expansion and Modification of Lend-Lease Authorization for Ukraine".
The corresponding document is published on the Congress website.
Wilson proposed granting US President Donald Trump expanded powers that would allow him to conclude agreements with the Ukrainian government on the loan or lease of weapons to counter russian aggression.
"We are grateful for the introduction of the First Lease of Freedom Act as HR 1158. War criminal putin understands only the language of force. We must give President Trump the authority to MASSIVELY and QUICKLY arm Ukraine with victorious weapons in order to force russia to sit down at the negotiating table. Peace through force!", the senator wrote in his X-account.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 10, Senator Wilson announced that he was going to present to US President Donald Trump a proposal to provide Ukraine with a "victorious weapon" to defeat the aggressor country of russia.
Recall that in May 2022, US President Joe Biden signed the lend-lease for Ukraine law, which was approved at the end of April by the US House of Representatives.
Lend-Lease for Ukraine did not work in 2022.
