Trump says he spoke to putin by phone about war in Ukraine – The New York Post

The President of the United States of America Donald Trump in an interview with The New York Post allegedly stated that he spoke to russian dictator vladimir putin by phone to try to agree on an end to the war in Ukraine.

When asked by journalists how many times Trump spoke to putin, the U.S. leader replied that he’d "better not say".

At the same time, Trump allegedly stated that putin "does care" about how many people die on the battlefield, and he "wants to see people stop dying".

The U.S. leader also repeated his past statements that a full-scale war in Ukraine "never would have happened" if he were the president at the time, because he "always had a good relationship with Putin".

In addition, he noted that he has a "concrete plan" to end the war in Ukraine.

"I hope it’s fast. Every day people are dying. This war is so bad in Ukraine. I want to end this damn thing," Trump said.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Donald Trump said that he may meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy next week and talk with russian dictator vladimir putin.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also announced the main topic of the upcoming conversation with Donald Trump.
