Ukrenergo announces competition for Board Chair position, Korn Ferry will assist

In accordance with the decision of the Supervisory Board, a competitive selection is announced for the position of the Chairman of the Board of the private joint-stock company National Power Company Ukrenergo (NPC Ukrenergo).

This is stated in the message of Ukrenergo, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is noted that the competition will be supported by Korn Ferry - one of the best global consulting companies for finding top managers and developing leadership.

The Chairman of the Board will have the following priorities and strategic goals for the period during the war: ensure the protection of critical elements of the power system and the rapid restoration of power facilities damaged by the war; support the development of distributed generation to increase the flexibility and stability of the power system; create a reserve of critical equipment and ensure its safe storage for rapid restoration; restore financial stability and the trust of international financial partners; strengthen the network capacity by building interconnectors with the EU to increase capacity and allowable marginal flows.

Also, managing a team of professionals, the Chairman of the Board must create the prerequisites for the company's post-war development.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, by decision of the Supervisory Board of NPC Ukrenergo, the head of the company Volodymyr Kudrytskyi was dismissed from his position on September 2, 2024.

In early December 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the appointment of three members of the Supervisory Board of the National Power Company Ukrenergo as representatives of the state.

In late November 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the appointment of four independent members of the Supervisory Board of the National Power Company Ukrenergo.
