Over the past year, 2024, the Ukrainian military hit 13,000 artillery systems of the russian invaders.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported this on his Telegram channel.
"This is more than in the previous two years of full-scale invasion combined," he wrote.
According to Syrskyi, the destruction of enemy artillery is one of the priority tasks of the defensive operation.
In general, the enemy's losses in artillery systems currently amount to almost 23,000 units, as well as 1,269 neutralized MLRS of the invaders.
"The effective counter-battery work of the Ukrainian artillery and the large-scale use of unmanned units have actually nullified the initial dominance of the artillery of the Russian invaders on the battlefield," he added.
Recall that over the past day, the army of the aggressor country, the russian federation, has lost 1,140 soldiers, 99 drones, and 157 units of motor vehicles at the front.
Earlier, Syrskyi stated that February will be difficult for the Ukrainian army, but the enemy will also have a hard time.
