The Verkhovna Rada ratified the agreement between the governments of Ukraine and Britain on official credit support for the development of the state's defense capabilities.
This was written in his Telegram channel by Yaroslav Zhelezniak, MP from the Holos faction, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
A total of 245 MPs voted for bill No. 0300, with a minimum of 226 votes.
Ratification of the Framework Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland will allow for the completion of the internal procedure related to the entry into force of the Agreement, which in turn will allow for the launch and implementation of joint projects to develop capabilities in the field of air defense.
According to the agreement, the United Kingdom will provide Ukraine with up to GBP 2 billion for the purchase of air defense systems, missiles for them, as well as for maintaining military equipment in working condition by organizing its repair and maintenance in Ukraine.
