Astrakhan gas processing plant stopped work due to a drone attack on the night of February 3.

This was reported by the governor of the Astrakhan Oblast of the russian federation, Igor Babushkin.

The official assures that "having received early signals about the danger of UAVs, the enterprise stopped its work, which made it possible to prevent emissions and avoid damage to chemical hazardous facilities."

According to him, environmental services and Rosprirodnadzor are constantly monitoring air quality in the region, and at the moment no exceedances of maximum permissible concentrations of pollutants have been detected.

The Center for Countering Disinformation explained the importance of the Astrakhan gas processing plant, which was attacked by drones at night.

The russian Defense Ministry complained about a massive drone attack on the regions, Moscow, and Crimea.

Previously, in Ryazan, unknown drones attacked an oil depot, a military airfield, and the Novo-Ryazan power station.
